Stifling Saturday
It was a hot Saturday for July. Considering it was October, it was unbelievably warm at the farmers market. The market was pretty slow again, but I was not that surprised, that is just how things are in the fall. I did cut back on my total production and actually did better then the previous week. Part of that had to do with the addition of a second batch of congo bars. I made 48 this week and around noon a family came in and bought all I had left. $9.00 worth of congo bars! That is a bit crazy to me, but since I was on the profiting side, I am not complaining. Next Saturday is the last day of the season.
