Too Long...

I know it have been way too long since I have updated this blog. It is because I have been focusing my attention on my travel blog trying to document my trip. It takes a while when you have 2000 pictures. :)

More cakes

Last week I have several cakes to make. Two were for my friends Beth and Andy. Beth was celebrating her 2nd 29th birthday with a bowling party. It was held on the actual birthday of Andy’s dad. So I made two cakes. Beth’s was chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. Andy’s dad was white cake, cherry frosting and chocolate cream cheese frosting.

I also made a cake for my Mom’s birthday which we celebrated on Sunday. One thing I like about making cakes for my family is that it gives me a chance to experiment a bit. This was my first time trying tulips.
